Our Security Commitments

No File Uploads

Your files are never sent to any server. All conversion happens inside your browser using client-side JavaScript and WebAssembly. We physically cannot access your files because they never reach us.

No Server Storage

We have no file storage infrastructure because we don't need one. There are no temporary folders, no cloud buckets, no databases holding your content. Converted files exist only in your browser's memory.

No Data Collection

We do not collect file names, file contents, conversion metadata, or any information about what you convert. The only analytics we use are standard page-view metrics that contain no personal data.

Automatic Cleanup

When you close the browser tab or navigate away, all file data in memory is automatically released by the browser's garbage collector. There is nothing to delete because nothing is persisted.

No Account Required

We don't require registration, email, or any personal information. There is no user database to breach because we don't create user accounts. Just open the page and start converting.

HTTPS Everywhere

The FastConvert website is served exclusively over HTTPS with TLS 1.3 encryption. This ensures that the converter code itself reaches your browser securely and has not been tampered with in transit.

Can you see my files?
No. Your files are processed entirely in your browser. They are never transmitted to our servers or any third-party service. We have no mechanism to view, access, or store your files.
What happens to my files after conversion?
Converted files exist only in your browser's memory as temporary Blob objects. When you close the tab or navigate away, the browser's garbage collector automatically frees this memory. There is no persistent storage.
Is it safe to convert sensitive documents?
Yes. Since all processing happens locally on your device, sensitive documents like contracts, financial records, or personal photos never leave your computer. This is inherently more secure than upload-based converters.
Do you use cookies or trackers?
We use Google Analytics for basic page-view statistics (which pages are visited, general traffic volume). We do not use advertising trackers, fingerprinting, or any technology that identifies individual users or tracks file conversion activity.
How can I verify files are not uploaded?
Open your browser's Developer Tools (F12), go to the Network tab, and perform a conversion. You will see that no file data is sent to any server. The only network requests are for the page itself and analytics.
